What actually runs when a sale comes in.

The same six areas as the overview, one level deeper — enough to picture your own team running on it.

Commission engine

Vendor pay and rep pay, tracked as two different questions.

A vendor's "PAID" status means the company can invoice — not that a rep is owed money today. Both states advance on their own as invoices clear and pay periods lock, so nobody has to explain the gap between them by hand, and no rep is left guessing why a status change didn't show up in their check.

vendor status
PAID

The vendor invoice cleared — the company can bill for this sale.

rep commission status
Pending Lock

The pay period hasn't closed. The rep sees this exact state on their own dashboard.

  • Commission tiers apply per rep and per sale date, so a rate change never rewrites history.
  • Chargebacks reverse against the tier the sale was actually paid at, not whatever rate applies today.
  • A rep's own dashboard shows Paying / Pending / Chargeback / Total — the same math you'd get on a request.
Payroll

A pay period is four stages, not a spreadsheet marathon.

Every period moves through the same four stages in order. Disputes get raised and resolved inside that same flow, so a disagreement never turns into a side conversation over text that nobody else can see.

Generate

Commission, bonuses and chargebacks calculate from the period's sales automatically.

Reps review

Each rep sees only their own numbers and can open a dispute before anything locks.

Admin review

Disputes get a resolution and adjustments land on the same record — never a separate correction.

Locked

The period closes. What was reviewed is what gets paid — no quiet edits after the fact.

Turf management

A rep's boundary is a line on a map, not a guess.

Assign fiberhoods and territory, set takeback dates, and track penetration — with a live two-way sync to ArcGIS Field Maps, so the map your reps see in the field and the assignment record in the back office are the same thing.

Takeback dates that actually fire

Territory sitting untouched past its date gets surfaced for reassignment, instead of quietly going stale until someone happens to notice a rep hasn't knocked there in months.

Penetration, per parcel

See coverage at the level that matters — which parcels in a fiberhood are actually worked, not just an assignment count.

Automated ingestion

Every sale reaches the system without anyone retyping it.

Vendor data uploads, email order confirmations, and Slack-posted sale screenshots all feed the same records directly. That's hours a week nobody has to spend copying numbers from a photo into a spreadsheet.

Field ops

Travel, permits, hotel bonuses and reimbursements in one place.

This is the stuff that lives in texts, email and memory until something expires unnoticed. Permits carry expiry alerts; hotel bonus requests and reimbursements route through the same approval flow as everything else.

Travel readiness confirmed Team of 6
Solicitor permit — expires in 9 days action needed
Hotel bonus request approved $140.00
Reimbursement submitted pending review
Audit trail & permissions

Every record change is traceable to a person, and a role decides who sees what.

Role-based access controls who can view or edit each part of the system. A full status log and a "last updated by" note ride along on every record that changes — so "why does this number look different than last week" always has an answer.
